Day 12 – March SOLSC
I came across this format the blogs Read.Reflect.Teach and KTFCTO. I was inspired to give it a try for myself.
I keep old birthday cards for memories and random receipts for no real reason at all.
I wish I could hear my dad’s voice and hug him.
I dance because it’s fun and makes me happy.
I sing in the shower and the car (and totally think I’m a rockstar, but would never sing in front of people!)
I think God gives you what He knows you can handle.
I really should learn how to organize and declutter my house.
I need to give my daughter a kiss while she’s sleeping and drink coffee every morning.
I can do things that I never thought I’d be able to do (i.e. workout, lift, run on a treadmill without flying off!)
I like to laugh – it’s the best medicine.
I always worry, procrastinate, and over think.
I’m participating in the March Slice of Life Story Challenge! Thank you to the team of writers at Two Writing Teachers for this wonderful writing community. A place for us to grow together as writers.
Great structure! I will definitely use this one. Even though it’s simple, it’s such a great tool for reflection!

I like this format. We get to see a part of you and connect. I also love to dance. My husband and I do Cajun and Zydeco dancing and a tiny bit of Western Swing. What kind of dancing do you do?

I don’t do any specific kind of dancing. More like I turn on music at home and dance party!

I loved how you used this format and shared some simple sentences that described! I feel like I got to know you a lot by using this simple prompts.

Have been seeing this travel around the blog circuit. What a great way to share information about yourself!

I love this format and how we can learn about each other through them. I too keep old birthday/occasion cards – I’ve even laminated some that I don’t want to get rid of or get ruined. I also love singing by myself but would never sing in front of people!
